We woke to clear skies with crisp morning air. Low tide was 10:00 this AM and we wanted to try our hand at a little clam digging. I already had some competition on the beach in the form of two seagulls so wanted to get going. We whipped up a good breakfast of piorogies, pancakes and eggs. Piled our gear into the dingy and headed off in search of those elusive bi-valves. By about 11:30 we had just enough for a nice meal and we wanted to catch the incoming tide down Admiralty towards home. Arriving back at Pellucidar, it was not long before we hoisted anchor and headed out the channel. We looked again for those range markers but never were able to locate them. We did notice the West side of the channel should be favored for depth. We motored out to Foul Weather Bluff with the wind on our nose but once we turned the corner, we had a nice sail down to Point No Point. The wind left us and as we both are traveling early on a Monday we elected to motor the rest of the way back. All in all it was a successful outing with all systems working and dinner was provided as well.
